InfoMedix

Since going live in December 2020 on the InfoMedix Digital Patient Chart (DPC) platform, which is implemented on AWS, staff are experiencing faster and real-time access to key clinical data instead of having to wait for physical paper records to be retrieved.

Physical paper relating to the admission episode is scanned immediately post discharge and is being supplemented by online medical record forms.

Clinicians can access patient records immediately, rather than having to wait for the paper record, and can access in more places, to review their patients.

The coders are able find records to be coded and the clinical information in a more efficient manner than their previous scanning solution which has seen a dramatic decrease in the uncoded revenue since the implementation of DPC.  This means that the hospital will be receiving health fund reimbursement much sooner.
