The Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA), formed in 1981, is Australia’s leading organisation for diabetes care and education. Its members are healthcare professionals who are committed to providing evidence-based best practice diabetes education to ensure optimal health and wellbeing for all people affected by, and at risk of, diabetes.
The Infomedix & ADEA Research Indigenous Scholarship for Diabetes Education and Management aims to increase the number of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people working in Diabetes Education and Management, and to support an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person studying the Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education and Management at UTS Faculty of Health.
