Digital medical record and content management provider InfoMedix has announced the appointment of Dominique Powis as its new Chief Technology Officer, in a move the company says has “strengthened” its executive team.
Infomedix told Pulse+IT that Ms Powis brought extensive experience in healthcare technology – including AI, integration and interoperability.
Ms Powis would drive product innovation and technical strategy as InfoMedix sought to accelerate its mission to deliver “smarter, more connected digital health solutions for our extensive footprint in Australian hospitals,” the company said.
Ms Powis said she was “incredibly excited” to join CEO Jeff Smoot and “the amazing team at InfoMedix and to help expand on their Australian success story.”
“Our mission is clear. We leverage the capabilities of technology and codesign with our users to provide efficient, connected and smart digital solutions for people and healthcare providers,” Ms Powis said.
“The purpose is real. I look forward to helping support the Australian health sector to deliver continuous, informed, connected and digital patient care.”
Mr Smoot told Pulse+IT he was “delighted to welcome Dominique to the InfoMedix leadership team.”
“She brings not only outstanding expertise in healthcare technology, but also the vision and leadership to inspire our teams,” Mr Smoot said.
“Dominique’s appointment marks an exciting new chapter as we continue to deliver smarter, more connected digital health solutions for hospitals across Australia.”
